For a couple, a solo skier or a small family, a studio is the most economical way to enjoy the resort: you sleep there, you cook there, and most of the day is spent on the slopes. On Chalet Montagne you will find studios to rent in ski resorts across the Alps, the Pyrenees, the Vosges and the Jura, often in the heart of the resort or close to the lifts.
A studio in a residence, a studio in a chalet, a studio with an alcove to separate the sleeping area, or a cabin studio with bunk beds, often ideal for two adults and two children: each listing shows the floor area, beds, facilities and distance to the slopes. Choose your dates to see only the studios available for your ski week.
You rent directly from the owner: you write to them from the listing, they reply to you personally and you agree on the booking together. With no middleman and no commission, a low price stays low.
Quality chalets and apartments for every budget.
How many people can stay in a ski studio? A standard studio comfortably sleeps two. A studio with an alcove or a cabin studio, which adds a sleeping corner with bunk beds, can often accommodate a small family. Go by the number of beds shown on the listing and, for more space, compare with our ski apartments.
What is a cabin studio? It is a studio with a small closed or semi-open space, the "cabin", fitted with bunk beds. Typical of French ski resorts, it gives children a separate sleeping area without the price of a one-bedroom apartment.
Is a studio really cheaper? For the same location, it is generally the most affordable accommodation in the resort. By going in January or March rather than during the school holidays, and by renting directly from the owner with no booking fees, you cut the cost of your ski holiday even further.
How do I choose the location? Look at the distance to the ski lifts and shops shown on the listing: a studio close to the slopes means you can leave the car parked all week. To step out on your skis, see our selection of ski-in ski-out apartments and studios.
What should I bring to a rented studio? Depending on the owner, bed linen and towels are provided or offered as an extra: the listing says so. Also check whether there is a ski locker, common in residences, and a parking space if you are coming by car.
How do I book a studio? Send your request to the owner from the listing, with your dates and the number of guests. The owner replies directly and you book directly, with no middleman: Chalet Montagne takes no commission on your rental.
