An apartment is the skiers' favourite option: practical, often close to the slopes and the shops, and suited to every budget. On Chalet Montagne you will find apartments to rent in ski resorts across the Alps, the Pyrenees, the Vosges and the Jura, for a couple, a family or a group of friends.
An apartment in a residence with a pool or sauna, an apartment in a village chalet, an apartment in a renovated old farmhouse or an upmarket apartment right by the slopes: each listing details the number of rooms and beds, the facilities, the photos and the distance to the ski lifts. Enter your dates to see only the apartments available during your ski stay.
Here you rent directly from the owner, whether a private individual or a professional. You write to them from the listing, they reply to you personally and you book directly, with no middleman: no commission, no booking fees, just the fair price set by the owner.
Quality chalets and apartments for every budget.
What size of apartment should I choose for a ski holiday? Listings show the number of rooms and beds. A one-bedroom apartment suits a couple or a small family; two or three bedrooms suit a family with children or a group of friends. Check how the beds are arranged (bedrooms, sofa bed, sleeping nook) and whether there is a ski locker. For a small budget for two, also consider our ski studios.
A residence or a chalet apartment? A residence often offers shared facilities (pool, sauna, ski room, covered parking) and a central location. An apartment in a chalet brings the charm of a mountain house and more peace and quiet. Either way, you deal directly with the owner or the letting agent of the apartment.
How do I find an apartment at the foot of the slopes? Each listing gives the distance to the ski lifts and to the resort centre. To put your skis on as you step outside, see our selection of ski-in ski-out apartments.
When should I book, and at what price? Christmas, New Year and the February holidays are the busiest periods: book early to have the choice. In January and March prices are generally lower and the slopes less crowded. In high season most apartments are let Saturday to Saturday; some owners accept short stays and weekends.
What is included in the rental? It depends on the owner: bed linen, end-of-stay cleaning, parking or access to the residence pool may be included or offered as extras. The listing gives the details, and the owner confirms them when replying to your request.
How do I book an apartment? Send your request from the listing with your dates and the number of guests. The owner replies directly, explains the terms (deposit, security deposit, tourist tax) and you book directly. Chalet Montagne takes no commission on your rental.
