The property
The Face aux Glaciers chalet is located at an elevation of 1,620 meters, just above the village resort of Saint Jean d'Arves, which is part of the Sybelles ski area (310 km of trails). The resort is 900 meters away by car or 500 meters on foot or on skis and offers all the necessary shops, as well as a movie theater and a daycare center.
Since it opened to tourists in 2014, it has been rented for 295 weeks. Prefectural rating: 2**
A 115-square-meter apartment for 10 to 12 people in a chalet with a 15-square-meter veranda and a 20-square-meter semi-covered terrace.
4 bedrooms and a Finnish sauna (option for a 5th bedroom with a pull-out bed for 1 to 2 additional people in an adjoining cottage heated in winter)
Ideal configuration: 3 couples, 4 singles (children/teens), 1 young child (in one of the master bedrooms), 1 to 2 infants
Ground Floor: entryway, 2-person sauna, ski storage, laundry room, luggage storage, bedroom with double bed + 1 child’s bed in the adjoining room, private bathroom with shower and toilet, digital TV
First Floor: Living room, dining room with digital TV, fully equipped kitchen (induction cooktop, oven, microwave, food processor, fondue and raclette sets, steamer, 3 coffee makers including Nespresso...), bedroom with double bed (+ baby bed), main bathroom with window, 3rd shower, separate toilet with window.
The sunroom is furnished with a table for 10–12 (lunch in winter), and a 15 m² terrace with outdoor seating
Mezzanine: Bedroom with double bed (+ child’s bed), library, “children’s” bedroom with 2 bunk beds (sleeps 4).
Central heating + wood-burning stove (wood provided).
Beds made upon arrival. Bath linens provided.
