The property
Comfortable 48m² T2 apartment for rent at the foot of the slopes, with a 14m² balcony and unobstructed views of the mountains and valley. Résidence Le Valier in the heart of the attractive ski resort of Guzet in Ariège.
Located at the foot of the slopes, with shops in the building (grocery store, Guzet Sport with ski and bike rentals), restaurants, pizzerias and a high-altitude restaurant.
The 48 m² apartment (NON SMOKER) comprises :
- a large bedroom sleeping 5
- 1 living room with open kitchen (main room).
Fully equipped kitchen with fridge-freezer (family size), induction hob, dishwasher, mini-oven (to heat your winter dishes), microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, raclette set, crockery +++.
- 1 bathroom with bathtub
- 1 separate WC and 1 entrance hatch (for shoes, overalls and coats)
Sleeps 7:
- 5 sleeps in the bedroom: 2 single bunk beds and 1 3-person bunk bed, including a 140x190 double bed downstairs (new 2022 bedding) and 1 single bed upstairs.
- 2 beds in the main room with a trundle bed (new 2022) for single (90x200) or double (180x200) sleeping.
Comforters and pillows are provided. You will need to provide (or rent on site): undersheets, fitted sheets, comforter covers and pillowcases.
A large 14m² balcony (8 meters long) with a breathtaking view of the mountains, valley, resort entrance and ski lift.
Wall-mounted flat-screen TV + 1 armchair + 1 coffee table
Electric heaters and towel dryer in bathroom (new in 2022). Smoke detectors.
Storage cupboards in main room and bedroom.
Ski locker in the same building, upper level via elevator.
Covered parking under the residence with 1 reserved space and direct access.
An indoor SWIMMING POOL and a FITNESS room are just 30 meters away, free of charge. Outdoor pool 2km away with mountain views (at Prat Mataou).
You'll be greeted by a concierge service for key collection, inventory of fixtures and any other services you may require (linen rental: sheets, towels on a flat-rate basis). Washing machine and dryer available.
Rental rates may be revised according to the period (weekly rental).
Plus €30 concierge fee and tourist tax. A cheque for 500 € will be requested by the concierge and returned after your stay following the inventory of fixtures.
The apartment must be left clean; if you fail to clean it properly at the end of your stay, you will be charged €100. Lost keys will also be charged €100.
A deposit of 30% is payable on signing the rental contract.
Guzet Neige is a quiet, charming family resort with ski slopes between 1400 m and 2100 m altitude (Freychet). Guzet is perhaps one of the best-kept secrets in the Ariège Pyrenees. This resort literally enchants its visitors, who (re)discover the mountains at their most marvellous.
From the steep slopes of Freychet to the gentle glide of Prat Mataou, skiing is everywhere and can be adapted to suit every taste.
A wide range of activities are available depending on the season:
- Winter: Downhill skiing (40 km of runs in 3 sectors); cross-country skiing (3 km of Nordic skiing); snowshoeing (3 itineraries); snowboarding; a toboggan area, French ski school.
- Winter and summer: 1.4 km-long monorail luge with a 350-meter vertical drop. One of Europe's longest toboggan runs on rails.
- Summer (in addition to monorail tobogganing): Bike rental; Mountain bike course; Go-karting; Paragliding; Hiking; Alpine walks; Cycling (route des cols: Latrape, Port de Lers,...) Fishing; Outdoor swimming pool at Prat Mataou with magnificent mountain views.
