The property
The chalet is a mountain lodge (elevation 1,150 meters) that our family took over and has been restoring for the past 13 years.
It is located in Saint-Gervais at a place called La Cry, which is 2 km below Le Bettex (the starting point for the slopes of the Saint-Gervais/Megève ski area).
It is in the mountains and accessible only on foot. The parking area is 300 meters above the chalet and can be reached via a path through the snow: it’s a beautiful, peaceful spot. The view is superb.
For ski-touring enthusiasts, you can set out on skis right from the chalet and reach untouched slopes without encountering any ski lifts!
For hikers or snowshoers, we’re on the edge of a forest: the chalet is a starting point for plenty of walks.
The chalet is a former farmhouse built entirely of wood. It offers every modern comfort.
The beds are made upon your arrival. Bath towels are also provided. All of this is included in the price.
Electric heating throughout the chalet.
On the ground floor:
• a large living room (about 50 m²) with a wood-burning stove (wood provided free of charge). A separate dining room
• a game and reading/comic book room with a fireplace (about 15 m²)
• a large, modern kitchen with a Gaudin stove, cooktop, oven, and microwave, as well as a dishwasher
• a utility room with a washing machine and dryer
• a restroom
On the first floor
6 small bedrooms with double beds, 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds, and 1 bedroom with a single bed
