20 minutes from Saint jean de Maurienne, and at an altitude of 1600m, find in Saint Sorlin d'Arves, at the foot of the Col de la Croix de Fer and in the heart of the Domaine des Sybelles (310km of slopes) the charm and calm of mountain villages with all amenities. Sherpa, bakery, pharmacy, medical office, shops, tourist office are open all year round.
Our refuge des Aiguilles is a duplex apartment facing northwest located on the top floor of a 3-story chalet "Les Aiguilles".
The apartment built in 2021 benefits from the latest quality and insulation standards and has been classified 4* by the SIVAV (Syndicat Intercommunal des Vallées de l'Arvan et des Villards) in Saint jean de Maurienne.
Accommodation:
Ideally located at the entrance of the village of Saint-Sorlin the apartment is easily accessible whatever the weather conditions. At 5 minutes from the center of the village and the main amenities, we are lucky to have the best bakery of the village at 10 meters from the chalet and to be very quiet! Our cocoon has been fitted out and decorated with a view to functionality, good living together and relaxation of course!
Planned for 10 persons, only 1 double room is condemned to the rent.
The terrace of more than 10 m2, accessible from the living room, is equipped and sheltered naturally by the magnificent frame of the chalet, and will allow you to take your meals outside in the beautiful days. You can also simply relax in a deckchair while admiring the view!
The accommodation is a duplex with all the bedrooms on the ground floor.
The ground floor of 70 m2 is composed of 4 bedrooms, 1 of which is condemned to rent:
- double bedroom (11m2), renowned for its panoramic view, with large storage closet (closet / shelves) and TV, queen size bed (160cm) giving access to a terrace of 12 m2 ,
- master bedroom (13m2), renamed l'etendard, with WC and en suite shower room, large closet (closet / shelves) and TV, queen size bed (160cm),
- cabin" room, renamed the Vachers, of 9m2 equipped with 4 beds. 2 bunk beds (90*190cm) and 2 beds (90*200m) built into the old wood walls, a luxury refuge for children (young and old!). Large storage closet (closet / shelves) + drawers under bed.
A separate toilet, a shower room and a bathroom with bathtub are also accessible for everyone's convenience.
A laundry room with washing machine and dryer is also at your disposal.
On the first floor we have an open space of 60 m2 with the kitchen under velux to enjoy the view in all circumstances, a dining room and the living room.
The kitchen offers all the modern comfort with a complete equipment: 2 ovens, microwave, dishwasher, induction cooker, integral refrigerator, filter and nespresso coffee machine, kettle, citrus press, blender, raclette machine, fondue machine, pancake pan and waffle iron.
Books, comics and board games are at your disposal to share quiet moments. Wifi access is also free and unlimited.
A large covered parking for 2 cars is available during your stay.
An individual and secure ski locker is available on the first floor of the chalet with a boot dryer.
Leisure activities on site vary according to the season:
For the children : Air Jump (giant trampoline), playground at the Choseaux lake and at the mill
For all: climbing, via ferrata, tennis, outdoor laser game (even in winter), paintball, canyoning, water trekking, adventure course, mountain board, mountain biking, geocaching, paragliding, fishing in lakes and streams, archery, donkey, pony, horse and sled dog rental, visit to the honey factory and cheese factory, bowling, disco, bar and restaurants.
Cinema in Saint Jean d'Arves (5 minutes by car)
For bikers and cyclists, we are on the road to the great passes with an exceptional setting.
Winter sports :
Downhill skiing: In winter you ski at 2600m on the Sybelles domain, ranked 4th skiable domain in France. ESF in the center of the village, we are 5 minutes walk from the lifts, free shuttles at the foot of the chalet to take you to the slopes or to the top of the village in case of reduced mobility or young children.
Other : Cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ski touring
