This spacious, newly built chalet sleeps 10 people. Located at the entrance to the resort of Les Gets, it boasts wonderful suites, a sauna, a jacuzzi, a media room and plenty of space. All the criteria are met in this chalet for a perfect stay in the Portes du Soleil area.

Chalet Behansa is located in a small hamlet less than a kilometre from the slopes and the village. This beautifully decorated chalet is only 50m from the ski bus. You can leave your car in the garage for the duration of your stay if you wish. There are beautiful views from the village to the mountains and slopes in the background. The jacuzzi is the perfect place to enjoy them.

In the village of Les Gets, restaurants, shops and cafes await you as well as a wide range of activities and entertainment in both summer and winter.
The property

You enter Chalet Behansa on the ground floor. Leave your winter sports or hiking equipment in the ski room equipped with a rail and a shoe dryer, hang your wetsuits and anoraks on the pegs. Then go into the superb living room. Make yourself comfortable on the sofas, watch a film in front of the fireplace or admire the scenery from the balcony. But perhaps you'd rather relax in the hot tub before dinner.

The fully equipped kitchen will make you want to be a chef and the long table will allow you to have your meals together. In the summer, you'll love eating on the balcony, which has another table and a barbecue.

There is a large suite on this level. It has a double bed overlooking the terrace and jacuzzi, a spacious dressing room and a modern bathroom.

A very nice twin bedroom with sloping ceilings is located on the mezzanine. There is also a separate bathroom and a games room which overlooks the living area. Teenagers will most likely set up their quarters in this mezzanine.

The three bedrooms on the garden level all have access to the terrace and the garden. The main one includes a dressing room and an adjoining shower room. The other two double bedrooms (double or twin beds) share a bathroom. This level also has a laundry room with washing machine and dryer, a sauna and a media room furnished with a sofa and poufs.

Behansa is beautifully decorated in a palette of greys, blues and browns that blend perfectly with the fantastic landscape that surrounds it. Summer or winter, this property will be very pleasant.
The area

Les Gets and the neighbouring resorts of Morzine and Avoriaz are part of the Portes du Soleil, an area of 12 resorts that stretches across the French-Swiss border. It is possible to ski into Switzerland, but only the most experienced will be able to test themselves against the Swiss Wall. Famous for being one of the steepest and most difficult runs in the world, it is marked orange as being far more dangerous than a black run. But on this 650km of runs, skiers of all ages and abilities will have plenty of fun and improve their technique.

Non-skiers will not be bored. In neighbouring Morzine, there is both an indoor and an outdoor ice rink. There are also opportunities to watch hockey games or a film at the cinema.

The more adventurous can try snowmobiling or climb one of the frozen waterfalls in the area. For the more leisurely, discover the area at a more leisurely pace on a sleigh ride or snowshoe hike. Organise sledging sessions or head to the Indiana Adventure Park in Morzine, which will delight young and old alike.

In spring, new activities become possible. The snowy slopes give way to green valleys, a paradise for hikers, cyclists and thrill seekers. Take the lifts up into the mountains and down at your own pace. Visit the resorts of Morzine/Avoriaz or the village of Montriond and its lake, perfect for a walk, a picnic and a kayak trip.

Les Gets and Morzine have been awarded Family Plus status for their entertainment and childcare facilities; a great choice for families.

There are water parks in and around Avoriaz as well as summer toboggan runs. Les Gets and Avoriaz have excellent golf courses.

You can also go climbing, rafting, via ferrata, canyoning, quad biking, fishing, etc.
