Chalet Cosyneige
This semi-detached chalet for 11 people (8 adults) has just been renovated. Located in the quiet Gotty area of La Clusaz, it offers both a peaceful environment and proximity to mountain activities. A 2.6km walk will take you to the heart of the village with its shops, bars and restaurants as well as the market where local producers sell regional specialities.
The chalet is just a short walk from the Envers piste in La Clusaz. Therefore, in winter, the more experienced skiers will ski directly to the gondola and ski school.
In the summer, there are numerous footpaths right outside the property.
The property
This delightful chalet sleeps 11 (8 adults) and is spread over three levels. Although adjoining, it has an independent access and a private garden from which you will admire the splendid view on the Aravis valley.
You enter the chalet on the first floor, the living room. It is composed of a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room furnished with a large table that will allow you to share your meals together, and a living room. In the evening, you will like to rest in the comfortable sofas by the fire, or read in the small intimate living room which gives onto the terrace. On the terrace, you can have your meals prepared on the barbecue and sit in the shade to contemplate the landscape. For absolute relaxation at the end of the day, take a dip in the Jacuzzi in the garden. Whether it's sunny or snowy, you'll love it!
The Cosyneige chalet has five double bedrooms. Pristine white bed linen is provided and the owners have chosen neutral tones to promote a restful sleep. On the top floor, two double bedrooms share a bathroom. There are three more bedrooms on the ground floor: a twin room, a three-person room with a single bed and two bunk beds, and a double room. This level also has two shower rooms and a bathroom as well as a laundry room with washing machine and dryer, a storeroom with an extra fridge-freezer.
In the garage you can park your car and store your skis. Outside, two other parking spaces are also reserved for you.
The area

The Cosyneige chalet is a paradise for winter sports enthusiasts, thanks in particular to the plethora of activities on offer nearby. Experienced skiers will enjoy direct access to the Envers slope.

Learners can take lessons or learn to ski on the blue slopes of the Beauregard plateau, where there are also many ski touring trails. Get a map from the La Clusaz Tourist Office. Experienced skiers and snowboarders can challenge themselves at La Balme.

Non-skiers will not be bored between the ice rink and the cinema of La Clusaz. They can go sledding, snowshoeing or plan dog sledding excursions and carriage rides. For a moment of pure relaxation, go to the spa and the heated swimming pool and discover the village.

Plan a day trip to Annecy, only 35 minutes from the chalet. Stroll through the narrow streets of the medieval city, visit its galleries and museums. Swim in the lake, reputed to be the cleanest in Europe, rent a boat, practice water sports, or play a round of golf on one of the nearby courses. In the evening, enjoy our regional dishes in the restaurant or prepare a barbecue on your chalet terrace.
In the spring, the snow melts and reveals the green pastures criss-crossed with hiking and mountain bike trails. Head to the via ferrata base not far from the chalet. You may be lucky enough to spot chamois or marmots. Climb up to the Aravis pass, where you can enjoy a great view, including the Mont Blanc massif. Some parts of the lift network remain open in the summer and will drop you and your mountain bike in the mountains of La Clusaz or Merdassier. You can go down at your own pace.
For an original experience, trek with a donkey to the Aravis pass. Other activities include horse riding, climbing and paragliding.
