Chalet Zamaro

This south facing property is sunny and close to the slopes of La Clusaz. It has a terrace, six bedrooms and three bathrooms. It sleeps 12 people and is therefore ideal for two or three families to enjoy the mountain activities.
The chalet offers stunning views of the Beauregard plateau and is only 3km from La Clusaz, and less than 200m from the La Ruade piste. Experienced skiers can ski to the village in winter, while in summer it is a pleasant walk.
The accommodation is spread over four levels. The top floor, under the roof, has twin bedrooms and a TV lounge. Teenagers will make this their home. A sun terrace has been created at the front of the house and a shaded terrace in the garden overlooking the forest. You enter Chalet Zamaro from the beautiful sun terrace on the ground floor. In the entrance hall, you will have space to hang your coats and have access to the ski room, very practical to store your equipment. A lovely bedroom with double bed, shower room and separate toilet is also located on this level. Its doors open onto the terrace from where you can admire the beautiful view of the Beauregard plateau. It is a charming place to drink your coffee in the morning.
The boiler room and the laundry room, equipped with a washing machine and a dryer, are also on the ground floor.
The staircase leads to the open plan living area on the first floor. Two separate lounge areas have been created at the front of the chalet and are therefore very bright. One is furnished with a large corner sofa, TV and fireplace. The dining area has a table for 12 and is separated from the kitchen by the bar. It has access to the terrace at the back of the chalet, which has a dining area and barbecue.
On the upper floor, the central landing gives access to three bedrooms. Two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, one twin bedroom, a bathroom and a separate toilet.
On the top floor there are two further twin bedrooms in the loft (low ceilings) and a TV room.
The property has a detached garage located one block away.
The Area
Nestled between Le Crêt du Merle, Étale and Beauregard, Chalet Zamaro is less than 200m from the blue La Ruade piste, which runs down to La Clusaz. Experienced skiers can ski back to the chalet by slaloming through the trees to the back door. The novice skier can return to the starting point and make the short journey on foot.
The La Clusaz gondola and ski bus stop is just 500m from the chalet. With your Aravis lift pass, access the 220km of pistes and 95 lifts in the ski area which covers La Clusaz, Le Grand-Bornand and La Croix Fry. Skiers of all levels will have fun and can challenge themselves.
Chalet Zamaro overlooks the Beauregard plateau, the ideal playground for cross-country skiers. Non-skiers will have no time to get bored between the ice rink and the La Clusaz cinema. They can also enjoy activities such as sledging, snowshoeing, dog sledding and carriage rides.
For a moment of pure relaxation, visit the spa and the heated outdoor swimming pool of the village. After an invigorating day in the mountains, you can recharge your batteries at the Zamaro chalet, which will become your haven of peace in the evening.
In the summer, you will experience a very intense stay at the Zamaro chalet! Hike to the Aravis pass, or let the gondola take you and your bike to the top of the mountains, then come down at your own pace. There are many activities on offer, including horse riding, climbing, via ferrata and paragliding.
Trails criss-cross the mountains around La Clusaz, so take your picnic for a long walk. Need a rest? Relax on the balcony or terrace and enjoy the view.
On summer evenings, you can go out to a restaurant or have a barbecue in the garden of Chalet Zamaro.
