Chalet Sabaroc
This breathtaking newly built chalet sleeps ten people. It has five bedrooms and three bathrooms. Situated between the villages of La Giettaz and La Clusaz, it offers holidaymakers a wealth of activities in both summer and winter. It's a great place for two or three families to share their holiday, or to get your tribe together! The large open-plan living room and bar will allow you to spend some quality time together. There are shops and restaurants in La Giettaz (2km) and the ski bus stop is 300m from the chalet. For a wider choice of restaurants, shops and bars, head to the lively village of La Clusaz, 8km away. Please note that the owner has arranged to have the access cleared of snow during the winter season. This means you can easily reach the main road.

The living space is spread over three levels. The entrance is on the first level. You have access to the large double garage, which is very spacious for storing bikes and skis, as well as the ski room equipped with a heated boot rack. On the first level there is also a large living room with dining and kitchen areas. Large windows and doors open onto the large, well exposed balcony which extends across one side and gable of the chalet. There is plenty of food for everyone in the modern, well-equipped kitchen. There is a large American fridge to keep your drinks cold, a bar for breakfast, and a large table to share a meal together. And after dinner, relax on the comfortable sofas to watch a movie or have a nightcap at the bar.4 out of 5 rooms are on the garden level and have access to a terrace. In summer and winter alike, open the doors in the early morning to let in the fresh mountain air; a great way to start the day! Three of the bedrooms are doubles and the fourth is a children's room, equipped with bunk beds, a single bed and an en-suite shower room. The fifth bedroom is a spacious suite on the top level. In addition to its very large en-suite bathroom, this luxurious space also has a dressing room and a balcony with spectacular views. The three floors are connected by a very elegant staircase made of wood and glass, allowing the light to circulate.
The area
Chalet Sabaroc is a beautiful location at the foot of the Aravis mountains with breathtaking views over the valley. It is located only 2 km from La Giettaz, on the road to La Clusaz. There is easy access to a wide range of ski slopes in the winter and many hiking and mountain bike trails in the summer, and the link between Le Plan and the ski areas of Combloux and Megeve offers a wide choice for skiers. There are over 100km of pistes in the Portes du Mont-Blanc area, and many more in the larger Évasion Mont-Blanc area, which covers the resorts of Megève, Saint-Gervais, Saint-Nicolas de Véroce and Les Contamines. For even more variety, it's a short drive to La Clusaz, which has over 200km of ski runs, and in the summer there's a wide range of activities to choose from, including hiking, climbing, summer sledging, picnics, or simply enjoying the 360 degree views from the top of some of the lifts. Finally, the Col des Aravis, a regular setting for the Tour de France, is not far away. 45 km away is the medieval city of Annecy, where you can spend a day. Wander through its narrow streets, have lunch in one of the canal-side restaurants or relax on one of the beaches of its lake.
