This five-star chalet for eight people in La Clusaz is also in a five-star location: in 15-20 minutes you can walk down to the resort centre on a lovely walk, to enjoy all the shops, bars and restaurants of La Clusaz (but don't take too much of a load off to start the brisk walk back to the chalet). In winter, the Beauregard ski slope passes by the chalet!
The views of the mountains and the village are probably some of the best in the area. In addition, you can explore this beautiful area without a car with the ski bus stop only 150 metres away and the main bus station 1 km away.
In both summer and winter, La Clusaz and the surrounding villages offer a wealth of activities, and Chalet Timan is an excellent base from which to enjoy them.
Chalet Timan's three floors offer enough space for eight people.
On the first floor you will find the spacious main living area. The high ceilings and wall of windows create a bright space, and you'll enjoy stunning views of the village from the comfort of the sofas in the lounge area. This space also boasts two dining rooms and a fully equipped kitchen that will make you want to get cooking.
This floor also has three bedrooms: a twin and a double, each with en-suite shower rooms, and a large double bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
Located on the second floor, the fourth bedroom with en-suite shower room and separate toilet is ideal for those who appreciate privacy!
The spa and gym are on the ground floor. You can work out on the treadmill or exercise bike, play a game of table football or relax in the sauna! This floor also has a laundry room and access to the double garage, with plenty of room to store all your outdoor gear.
Staying at Chalet Timan means you can easily explore the whole of the La Clusaz/Grand Bornand area and the Aravis mountains, a great year-round destination.
In winter you can ski into the village and the Aravis ski pass gives you access to 220km of pistes and 95 lifts. The nearby Confins and Beauregard plateaus are ideal for cross-country skiers.
Non-skiers won't have time to get bored, with an ice rink and cinema in La Clusaz as well as sledging, dog sledding and sleigh rides or snowshoeing. For pure relaxation, watch the snow fall in the village's heated outdoor pool.
Summer is no exception, and Chalet Timan's prime location on the edge of La Clusaz means you can enjoy all the mountains have to offer without a car.
Hike to the Aravis pass, or take the lifts up to the peaks on your bike, then cycle back down at your own pace. Other activities available in the area include horse riding, rock climbing, via ferrata and paragliding. In addition, the mountains around La Clusaz are criss-crossed with trails and paths.
Only 30 minutes away by car, the beautiful lake town of Annecy is ideal for a day trip. Considered the cleanest lake in Europe, it offers an idyllic setting for water sports, cycling, swimming and boat trips.
You can also relax on Chalet Timan's beautiful terrace, or enjoy a barbecue with friends or family at sunset.
The sun terrace surrounds two sides of the chalet, and you'll have no trouble finding a sunny spot for your deck chair. The terrace is also equipped with a sitting area, a barbecue and a large table, ideal for enjoying the long summer evenings.
