Are you looking for a splendid setting for your next holiday with family or friends? Breathtaking views, luxury and plenty of space? Then Chalet Goville could be the place for you. You will be only 450m from the ski lifts where you will also find bars, restaurants and shops, and much more in La Giettaz which is 3km away.
With a surface area of 450m², this chalet can accommodate 15 people in seven en-suite bedrooms. This means that everyone can have their privacy. There is also a wine cellar, a ski/bike room with heated shoe rack, and a great wellness area with sauna, jacuzzi and panoramic views of the Aravis mountain range.
During the renovation, the owners installed windows wherever possible to make the most of the views and natural light. However, they kept the original architecture of the house, giving it a lot of character.
This spacious home is spread over three floors. The main entrance is on the ground floor and leads into a hall with dressing room and then into the very large living area. The large kitchen is arranged around a beautiful original fireplace, running through the height of the chalet, up to the roof. You will have all the space you need to cook on the large piano and on the large central island.
The large table was custom made from the wood of the old chalet. After a meal shared together, you can meet by the fire in the cosy living room to talk about your day or watch a film. Both the dining and living areas have access to separate balconies and the flat garden, where you can also barbecue or sunbathe.
On this level there are two double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms - one with a shower room and the other with a bathroom - and separate WCs.
A grand staircase with glass walls leads up to the first floor with a glass threshold that allows natural light into the kitchen and a view of what is being prepared. There are five bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and access to the terraces. Three have dressing rooms, four have large double beds that can be converted into twin beds. The fifth bedroom has a double bed that can be converted into twin beds and bunk beds. It is suitable for a family thanks to its shower room and its mezzanine relaxation area. Some of the balconies have glass panels to enjoy the breathtaking views. You will also find a laundry room on this floor.
On the garden level, you will find a wine cellar, a large ski and bike room with heated boot rack, a technical room dedicated to skiing but also a magnificent wellness area, with bike, carpet, table football, large sauna and shower room. The jewel in the crown is the sunken jacuzzi, surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the mountains and lifts. It's a wonderful place to relax at the end of an intense day.
The Area
Chalet Goville is just 450m from the ski lifts and 3km from the bustling village of La Giettaz; a great location for skiers, hikers and mountain bikers.
The line that connects Le Plan to the ski areas of Combloux and Megeve offers skiers a wide choice of runs. In the Portes du Mont Blanc area you can enjoy over 100km of pistes and much more in the larger Évasion Mont Blanc area which includes Megève, Saint-Gervais, Saint-Nicolas de Véroce and Les Contamines. And if that's not enough, you can quickly drive to La Clusaz, which has over 200km of pistes.
In the summer, a plethora of activities await you: hiking, climbing, mountain biking, summer tobogganing, picnics. You can also enjoy the incredible 360° panorama from the top of the ski lifts. You can also visit the nearby Col des Aravis, a regular stage of our Grande Boucle. The owner of the chalet, a cycling enthusiast, will be delighted to take you to discover the surrounding area by bike. You can also store your bikes in the ski room in winter.
The medieval city of Annecy is only 45 km from the chalet, an opportunity for a day's escape from the slopes. Stroll through its narrow streets, enjoy a meal in one of the restaurants along the canal or relax on one of the beaches by the lake. You will also be only thirty minutes away from the multi-sports hall "Le Palais des Sports" in Megève, passing through Flumet.
