The property
A former 18th century farmhouse, tastefully converted into a holiday home some twenty years ago by an English couple in love with the region, "Jo's Chalet" is situated just above the village of Morillon, on the edge of the pastures.
Florence and Joël Teinturier welcome you in a warm family atmosphere. With more than 30 years of experience in the hotel and restaurant business, they are keen to share with you the cosy atmosphere of this place and help you discover all the tourist attractions of the Giffre valley, which will charm you with its panoramic views, but above all with the range of activities that you can enjoy, both in summer and in winter.

That's why Florence and Joël have looked for the right place for your next family holiday or "tribe".
The "Chalet de Jo" offers 12 to 14 comfortable beds by the spaces made available. :
- 4 cosy bedrooms,
- 5 bathrooms,
- 2 convertible lounge areas.
The chalet offers an impressively luminous living area thanks to its large bay windows opening onto the east terrace, where you can enjoy the panoramic jacuzzi and sauna, admiring Morillon by night or taking in the view of the Criou. The South terrace will allow you to enjoy the sun for a barbecue or a sunbathing session in summer.
The kitchen is open to the family table and will allow you to cook good meals while remaining in contact with your friends. The high table in the kitchen will even allow a few privileged people to have a drink while admiring the work of the "chef"!
The flambé in the living room stove will be the center of attention from the TV corner, the billiard table, the lounge area, the table or the Spa terrace
Next to the lounge area, an American billiard table allows a wonderful moment of relaxation
Internet access, TV, DVD player or a Wii game console will satisfy the virtual diehards, while board games and a large library will allow you to get away from your daily stress, by sharing laughter.
A wood-burning stove and underfloor heating allow you to relax in a cosy environment after a day in the mountains.
The activities
With its 5 linked resorts, the Grand Massif, the 4th largest ski area in France, offers 265 km of pistes for all levels of ability up to an altitude of 2,500 m, with the Mont-Blanc in panoramic view. Postcard-perfect scenery guaranteed, in summer and winter alike, the Grand Massif has a lot to offer!
The Grand Massif, in winter :
- it's, of course, the pleasure of downhill skiing,
- but also the discovery of ski touring with instructors who will help you conquer the summits,
- It is also snowshoeing for non-skiers,
- but also the discovery of the exceptional panorama of the cirque of Sixt Fer à Cheval, thanks to its cross-country skiing area,
- or simply the dolce vita at the chalet, between the table, the sauna and the jacuzzi.
In summer, everything changes and there are many activities:
You are adventurous:
- Dare to experience the thrill of rafting down the Giffre river.... a great moment of good humour!
- Around the blue lake a few steps from the chalet:
o The accrobranches with its suspension bridges and tyrolean traverse
o The mini golf course to relax with your family
o The obstacle course if you have energy to spare

o Fishing in the white waters of the Giffre
o Horse riding
- On the way to Sixt Fer à Cheval, for mountain lovers, you can choose to hike in the high mountains, climb the via ferrata, or try your hand at caving.

- For those who are passionate about cycling, a wide range of passes to climb
- And quite simply, hiking with routes ranging from a stroll along the Giffre to a hike to the Bourgeoise from where the view of Mont Blanc is exceptional. The cirque of Sixt Fer à Cheval is a must.
