The property
Built entirely of wood, our family chalet will allow you to stay comfortably. The Savoyard furniture and equipment are designed to accommodate our large family and therefore, nothing should be lacking.
You will have an unlimited high speed WIFI internet connection.
The chalet can easily accommodate ten people. Beyond that, a supplement of 25€/person/day will be added to the rates presented on the schedule BUT WITH A LIMIT OF 12 PEOPLE MAXIMUM.
The ground floor is very open and allows you to move from the kitchen to the dining room and the living room to enjoy the conviviality you want on holiday. The fireplace is an important element of the warm atmosphere we have created. The wood is at your disposal around the chalet.
If you wish to isolate yourself from the living room and the conversations on the sofas, a television room (large Sony flat screen) aside offers you more privacy.
In the kitchen, everything is possible, the pots are numerous and big! Fondues, raclettes, hot stone, pancakes, chips or small dishes, our chalet is a large practical and used to family meetings or friends.
From the kitchen or from the dining room, you have access to the balcony and the terrace which offers you the sun from morning to evening (east and south exposure).
The view is facing the Etale massif, one of the four massifs of La Clusaz, and the terrace overlooks a group of very tall fir trees overhanging a pretty stream. The view is magnificent and the surroundings allow children to play safely. A beautiful wooden terrace welcomes you with plaids in winter and deckchairs in summer!
On the ground floor, this is the domain of the 'young', the soundproofing is perfect. Two bedrooms, each with two single beds, are complemented by a games room which can become an additional bedroom and thus accommodate six people on this level.
An exit (or entrance) through the garden can be practical especially if you have big teenagers coming home late! This is our private ski room and can also be used to store your skis if you prefer to avoid the main entrance.
There is a bathroom/toilet on each floor and the garden level has a bathroom with bath and separate toilet.
On the first floor, accessed by a wooden staircase in the cathedral lounge, the corridor leads to three large bedrooms, each with king-size beds (160/200). One of them allows to separate the bed in twin beds. Another one has a 150 cm child's bed. There is also a cot for babies.
The garage is usually used to store your skis (rack), shoes or any other sports equipment you may wish to have, but it can also accommodate your car. The private car park allows you to park three additional vehicles.
The location of the chalet, 1.7 km from the centre of the village, provides a calm and remarkable panorama, but as a result, shopping can only be done by car. However, our older children have always gone to the cinema or other outings on foot.
The shuttle bus is located 200 meters from the small chapel, going down the route d'la Sence.
The access to the ski slopes is possible by going down 300 m to join a green slope or by going up 500 m to join 2 massifs of your choice. This access is more indicated to the sportsmen and to those who wish to save time, indeed you are at the top of a massif in only 1 rise. You can ski back to the chalet if the snow conditions allow it.
If you have very young children, the car will be essential.
