The property
This year for the new year week, we propose you a rent from Sunday to Sunday.
The chalet is ideally located at about 300 meters from the supermarket and the bakery, about 350 meters from the ski lifts and the ESF, and about 400 meters from the cinema. Ski in/ski out possible, snow permitting. Area about 200 m2. Direct access to the terrace and garden. Large garden of 500m2. South facing. One parking space available on the square (a resident badge is provided with the rental); if more than one car, park at the snow front opposite the ski school.
The price of the rental includes the cleaning at the end of the stay. Sheets and bath kit can be hired from the concierge who will welcome you on arrival (As an indication: single sheets 12 euros, double sheets 15 euros, bath kit 10 euros including towel, shower mat, shampoo, shower gel, soap and body cream).
This chalet includes;
-on the 1st floor : 5 bedrooms (12 beds + 2 small children) and 2 shower rooms - WC
-On the ground floor: a 60 m2 living room with vaulted ceiling and fireplace, a 30m2 kitchen with dining area for 8 to 10 people, a toilet and a central heating boiler room (oil).
The equipment is as follows:
in the boiler room:

-a washing machine and tumble dryer
-a dishwasher
in the kitchen
a large built-in oven and induction hotplates
-a 15 m2 storeroom with refrigerator
-all kitchen utensils (pots, pans, cutlery, tablecloths...)
-pillows, duvets, mattress protectors for each bed etc....
The village of Saint Jean d'Arves is made up of a dozen Savoyard hamlets (old local farms) including the hamlet of La Chal where the chalet is located (old village area with character).
Numerous activities in the summer nearby: climbing, Via ferrata, pony, cinema, lakes, various activities offered by the tourist offices of Saint Jean d'Arves and Saint Sorlin d'Arves...). Numerous hikes starting from the chalet.
The ski resort is in La Chal (new area with restaurants, shops, 5 ski rentals, bars, tobacco, cinema, nursery and day care) from where the chairlifts leave for Corbier (300m from the chalet) (possibility of access to ski and return to the chalet directly from the slopes for the less novice).
With the same ski pass, it is possible to ski at La Chal for beginners, as well as at Corbier
With a specific ski pass, you can also ski at La Toussuire + Saint Sorlin + St Colomban des Villards via l'Ouillon, which is known as Les Sybelles (6 linked resorts with about 300 km of pistes)
About fifteen ESF instructors are at the disposal of the holidaymakers as well as the tourist office with all their organized activities (cultural walks in snowshoes, cinema evenings, visit of stables and cheese factory etc...) and possibility in St Sorlin (3km) of cross-country skiing, dog sledding, motorbike rides, paragliding etc...
The cost of renting in February (high season) is 3000 euros all inclusive per week
On the day of booking, you will be asked to pay the following amount with your agreement to the 'rental contract
-a deposit of 800 euros (cheque not cashed and returned at the end of the stay within 1 month)
-a deposit, the balance to be paid at the latest 1 month before your arrival
