Nestled in the lush greenery at 1000 m elevation, the little village of Ignaux is perched just above Ax-les-Thermes, the last major town before Andorra and Spain. The area offers a wide range of activities: excursions, walks, mountain biking, horseriding, as well as exploring the great diversity of wildlife (bears, wolves, isards and raptors). In addition, skiers are spoiled for choice in this magnificent area: the station Ax 3 Domaines at 5 km away has 75 km of alpine ski trails and Chioula at 2 km awa) has 60 km of cross-country trails.
Finally, the thermal station Ax-les-Thermes (10 minutes) offers all the facilities of a spa resort with its casino, pool, cinema and numerous cultural and sporting events throughout the year.
