The Vaujany Ski Domain is an integral part of an enormous domain covering 8 village communal territories : Alpe d'Huez , Auris, Clavans, Le Freney d'Oisans, La Garde, Oz en Oisans, Villard Reculas and Vaujany. The 160 place Cable Car systems takes you from the village at 3812,5 feet to 8540 feet in minute...The next stop up is 10156,5 feet at the Pic Blanc looking out on to the Mont Blanc, the Grand Paradis, the Meije and the Ecrin National Park. Skiing down offers a choice from 220 km of managed slopes of all skill levels . The slopes , or pistes in french, cover 6801,5 feet of altitude variant cutting through gulleys and forests ,to a multitude of lift and cable car options, - .frankly it's hardly possible to familiarise oneself with the whole ski domain, it being that vast... Vaujany offers over 7410 Acres of mountainous snow playground in an attempt to satisfy the desires and ambitions of all kinds of skiers, piste and off-piste, cross-country, competitions, snowboard, ... everybody !
