Based in the Hautes Alpes region, we're big fans of our mountains, and rent out 10 chalets in Vars and Montgenèvre, accommodating from 12 to 24 people. We'd like to introduce you to our typical south-facing chalet "Le Mouflon" (160 m²), which sleeps 14, ski-in ski-out in Vars les Claux, facing the Eyssina peaks.
Le Mouflon is located in a quiet area and is ideal for reunions with family, friends or even colleagues, while feeling right at home. You'll find a warm atmosphere and maximum comfort for a dream vacation!
The chalet has 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, all fully equipped, including a children's area. At the entrance to the chalet, you'll find a room where you can take off your shoes and put away your skis and boots. The living room is separated from the dining room by a fireplace, where you can enjoy a cup of hot chocolate by the fire and spend convivial moments after a day on the slopes. It opens onto a 25 m² south-facing terrace where you can enjoy lunch outside.
On the first floor, on the garden level, there's also a south-facing terrace with a private outdoor Jacuzzi heated all year round to 37°C, where you can bask in the sun during your vacations, as well as garden furniture.
The chalet has all the comforts of home: wifi, 4 TVs and 3 DVD players, dishwasher, washing machine & dryer, US fridge with freezer, baby and children's equipment, gas BBQ, etc.
DESTINATION PLUS POINTS - WINTER
The ski area boasts 185 km of runs at altitudes ranging from 1,650 to 2,750 m, and the high level of snowmaking equipment guarantees snow every winter from December to April. This comprehensive ski area offers safe runs for beginners, 10 black runs for sports enthusiasts, and around a hundred powder lanes, most of which are easily accessible by ski lift. 4 snowparks for all levels, and for thrill-seekers, come and hurtle down slopes from 30 to 50% and time yourself on the kilometer-throwing speed stadium (record to beat: 255 km/hour!).
Come and discover our ski area in a different way, by dog sled, snowshoe, toboggan or snowmobile.
HOSSZU CHALET SERVICES
- Meals can be delivered (half-board catering or home cooking all year round).
- End-of-stay cleaning included, daily cleaning optional.
- Linen included in the price during Christmas and February school vacations, optional the rest of the year.
- Contacts with accredited instructors who can accompany you on all your sporting outings, all year round, for beginners and advanced sportsmen and women alike (ski touring, downhill skiing, racing, mountaineering, climbing, fat-bikes...).
- A team on a human scale, highly available to our guests to provide the best possible support before and during your stay.
In winter and summer, the chalet is rented from Saturday to Saturday. Weekend rentals are available outside school vacations. We accept dogs, but cannot accept cats.
We also rent 5 other chalets for 12 to 24 people in Vars Sainte Catherine, and 4 chalets for 16 to 22 people in the Montgenèvre resort. Don't hesitate to ask for information for your group!
