In the winter you will find a ski area which is unique in Europe with 2150
metres vertical, and famed all over the world.

La Grave / La Meije belongs in the privileged circle of unavoidable grand
stations in the world of skiing. From the top lift ( t-bar) at 3500m one
descends freely the 2150 m vertical drop of the Vallons de la Meije in an
abundance of fresh, virgin powder.

In parallel with the extreme skiing on the north face of the Meije , the
three areas of Le Chazelet, Villa r d'Arène and le Col du Lautaret, are
ideal for beginners and intermediate skiers. Enjoy the magnificent scenery
of the Oisans while skiing in safety on green and red pistes or taking the
children for their first descent .
