Valmorel is situated in the Tarentaise Valley, with pistes from an altitude of 1400 to 2550 m. The Grand Domaine - 160 km of pistes, or 3600 hectares of ski area - is made up of Valmorel, Doucy Combelouvière and Saint François Longchamp, and is equipped with 52 ski lifts, 201 snow cannons and a snowzone area with a half-pipe and a boarder-cross. The architecture gives Valmorel its unrivalled character of a Savoyard village.
