Ideal for two families, if not more, this very comfortable 4 star chalet has six bedrooms. Its excellent design and the organization of its rooms will allow everyone to share convivial moments, or to isolate themselves according to their desires.

The exceptional location of Chalet Batieu offers breathtaking views, and the possibility of skiing to La Clusaz thanks to the green slope that winds through the garden!

Close to the hustle and bustle of the resort, you will nevertheless appreciate the tranquillity of the Gotty area. The centre of La Clusaz is only 2.2 km away. You will find many bars, shops, restaurants and nightclubs, as well as colourful markets to taste local products.

The Chalet ...

Organized on four levels, the six-bedroom, three-bathroom chalet can comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests (13 adults max) in a cocooning atmosphere. Each floor has two bedrooms and a bathroom.

The entrance on the ground floor opens onto a spacious living room with soft sofas for cosy evenings around the fire. Set the large table for convivial meals prepared in the fully equipped kitchen. You will also find on this floor a TV lounge, as well as an independent toilet.

French windows open onto the sunny terrace. Here you will find a barbecue and a table to have lunch in front of the breathtaking view... Also perfect for an aperitif at sunset!

A second terrace on the lower floor is equipped with a jacuzzi and a summer kitchen. The views from this terrace are also breathtaking.

This floor also includes a second living room and kitchen, as well as a fabulous home cinema/games room with a table football and a retro arcade machine (150 games available!)

The mezzanine has two double bedrooms and a bathroom.


The surrounding area ...

A wide range of activities awaits you as soon as you walk through the door of Chalet Batieu - a green slope at the bottom of the garden leads directly to La Clusaz, the cable car and the ski school. Here you are right on the edge of the slopes...there is even a snow gun in the garden!

Beginners will gain confidence on the blue and green slopes at Beauregard, while the more experienced can test their limits on the slopes at La Balme. The Beauregard plateau is also perfect for hiking. Don't hesitate to contact the La Clusaz tourist office to get a map of the slopes.

Those who don't want to put on skis can have fun at the skating rink, go to the cinema, go sledging, go snowshoeing, or take a dogsled ride. Even more relaxing? What could be better than a swim in the heated outdoor pool... a magical experience when the snow starts to fall!

It's hard to get bored at Chalet Batieu during the summer.

When the snow gives way to pastures, countless paths are available for hikers and mountain bikers. Leave the chalet to climb to the Col des Aravis, or join the via ferrata to climb safely. Keep your eyes open, chamois and marmots may not be far away...

Take advantage of the exceptional views of the Mont Blanc massif, and if the way seems a little too long, know that in summer some lifts are sometimes open. Take the opportunity to go with your bike to the summits of La Clusaz or Merdassier, and then come back down at your own pace. Go to the tourist office to check the updated lifts and opening times.

For an exceptional day out, hire a donkey from a farm at the Col de Aravis and set off on an adventure, or take a horse ride, or even a paragliding flight!

The medieval town of Annecy is only 35km from Chalet Batieu, with its many shops, restaurants, art galleries and museums. Its lake (with the clearest waters in Europe) awaits you for days of swimming or water sports. For those who like to play golf, there are several golf courses in the area. Back at the chalet, dine in one of the local restaurants, or prepare the barbecue yourself while sipping a drink and, from your terrace, watch the sun disappear behind the peaks...
