An atypical and unforgettable stay in an authentic alpine chalet of the XVIth century entirely renovated. Adjoining, but the 2 adjoining parts are not occupied... In the heart of a traditional hamlet with a few families present alternately, and nice...
Located at an altitude of 1,900 m, our 65 m2 guest room awaits you for a unique stay facing the glaciers of La Sache (3,604m) and Mont Pourri (3,769m).
The chalet is located in the commune of Ste Foy Tarentaise on the sunny slopes.
The access is reserved for the alpagists, you will leave your vehicle a little lower on a quiet carpark, and your host will lead you to your place of stay with your luggage.
We are a 10 minute walk from the listed village of Le Monal, in the heart of the starting point for walks and hikes to the Clou valley (listed), and the unknown but splendid Nancruet valley.
All around, an abundant fauna allows for evening birdwatching which enchants the children. Ideal for a family retreat in the mountains!
On request, your host will be able to offer you full board and concoct a traditional Savoyard fondue for you (count 17.50 € extra per person for a dinner and 8 € for a picnic to take away.
A small gas cooker with 3 burners is at your disposal outside.

The chalet offers a simple comfort, full of charm, using natural resources: spring water, solar energy, local and organic food, some of which comes from the vegetable garden or from the picking.
It offers a shower, a dry toilet, a private terrace and individual beds arranged according to traditional usage. (4 double beds - 2 sofa beds). Each one offers its own space.
Your host, a mountain guide, will be able to suggest outings in areas that are inaccessible by yourself and will be able to give you the best advice to discover this little-known part of the Vanoise.
All our prices are for the complete and private reservation of the chalet, including breakfast:
